Hi! I’m Stacey—affectionately known as "Beebs" to some. Along with my husband and two sons, we are the Beebs Bees team.
I started my beekeeping journey in 2016, when a friend encouraged me to give it a try. Over the years, I’ve learned how to create healthy homes for honeybees, manage pests and disease, help colonies make it through Ohio winters, harvest honey, render wax and, on occasion (calmly-ish) deal with stings.
10+ years later, I’m still learning and loving the bees.
More than anything, beekeeping has taught me just how extraordinary honeybees truly are.
They pollinate the food we eat, support the ecosystems around us, and play an incredibly important role in the world we share. They work together with a purpose and determination that never ceases to amaze me.
We care deeply about the well-being of our bees and strive to keep their lives—and their diet—as natural as possible. Our bees feed on the honey they produce rather than sugar or artificial feed whenever we can make that possible. After all, honey is their natural food, and we believe they deserve to enjoy the fruits of their own hard work.
And yes, we’re happy to share that honey with you.... whenever the bees say so.
Every hive has a story. Every jar of honey represents thousands of journeys, countless flowers, and the incredible work of a colony working together.
We’re grateful to be a small part of that story—and even more grateful to share it with you.
